The MSRA is an increasingly ubiquitous hurdle for entering all manners of specialty training. We will spend a few hours of our morning dissecting the exam and how to approach it successfully. Join our three recent MSRA candidates online!
The morning will be in a relaxed style, and we hope everyone feels free to join us by video and by audio to contribute fully.
Session One: Tips and Tricks 📈
Each candidate will fill us in on how they tackled their preparation, what was easiest and hardest about the process and how they overcame the challenge of preparation. They will take us through their approach to situational judgement/professional dilemma questions and build a framework of how to decide how to "think like the exam".
Session Two: Question Time 🧐
We will open some MSRA questions and figure out the working, to get you used to the wording and expectations of this unique exam. Expect lots of time to dissect, lots of panel debate, and lots of lessons learned. This will be very interactive so audience participation is expected here for shared learning!
Session Three: Ask the Panel 🙋🏼♀️
Totally up to the group- the panel are all ears and there to help with your own queries. Clinical advisors will again be available to support a group discussion about how to tackle the participants' own concerns about the exam.
We will host the morning on Google Meet. After registering, you should receive an email inviting you to join the meeting within 48 hours of the event. Then all you need is yourself, a hot coffee and a webcam.
The meeting will be hosted by Dr Anna Celnik, Consultant Anaesthetist, with three candidates who have sat the MSRA (with success, of course!) within the past two years.
